Urban Air loves being a brand that people can relate to and are eager to learn more about. Our Executive Team is highly experienced in the franchise industry, but that’s not all. The Urban Air Executive Team embodies all of the qualities of our successful franchisees – they’re invested in kids and committed to providing opportunities for families to connect via active play, they’re innovative in their ideas and pursuits, and they’re “all in” in their commitment to help others own and operate community-changing Urban Air Adventure Parks.
In 2011, Mr. Browning Founded Urban Air Adventure Parks where he currently holds the title of CEO. Through speed and innovation, Urban Air has become the nation’s premier full-service active family entertainment company offering safe, clean, affordable fun for all ages. As of Q1 2019, Urban Air has over 270 locations ramping to employ over 23,000 young adults and serve 48 million guests annually. Urban Air is on track to open 74 new locations in 2019 with another 70 starts which will open in 2020. Mr. Browning believes every guest has a story. Urban Air’s mission is to enhance the story through engaging atmospheres that leverage the combination of lighting, sound, attractions and a guest-centric staff.
Stephen Polozola is one of our cofounders and has served as our Executive Vice President and General Counsel since our inception in May 2013. Stephen oversees our legal, risk management, and insurance departments within the company. Stephen was licensed by the Texas Supreme Court to practice law in Texas in November 2000. Prior to his affiliation with Urban Air, Stephen was a shareholder at Decker Jones, PC in Fort Worth, Texas (2007 – 2018) and Senior Attorney at Bush, Rudnicki, & Shelton, PC in Arlington, Texas (2000 to 2007).
Jay Thomas is the Chief Operating Officer of Urban Air. In his current role, Mr. Thomas leads the Senior Leadership Team overseeing all divisions of the organization. Previously, Mr. Thomas was the Vice President of International Park Development for Six Flags Entertainment. During his more than 30 years at Six Flags, Mr. Thomas served in a number of managerial roles including administration, operations, human resources, marketing, and information systems. He was also Park President of Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Mr. Thomas has a B.A. in Management Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an M.B.A. from Amberton University.
Scott Perry, CFE
Scott Perry has an impressive professional background growing the Sport Clips franchise from under 400 locations to nearly 1,800 locations in the United States and Canada during his 12-year tenure, most recently as CFO. As Chief Franchise Officer and Executive Vice President for Urban Air Adventure Park, Perry specializes in building and monetizing businesses, strategic planning, developing and improving financial and operational processes, raising capital, mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis and reporting, unit economic development and executive management. Prior to joining Urban Air and serving Sport Clips, he served in key finance leadership positions with Britestream Networks and AIM Technologies after an eight-year career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Scott is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and Certified Public Accountant.
Josh Wall, CFE
Josh Wall is the Executive Vice President and Chief Franchise Officer for Urban Air Adventure Parks. He serves on the executive leadership team, responsible for the domestic and international franchise recruitment efforts, real estate, park development, attractions supply chain, and management of the ongoing franchise relationship. Wall joined the Urban Air team in 2019. Prior to joining the Urban Air team, Josh was with Christian Brothers Automotive for over 16 years, where he served as Chief Development Officer, VP of Franchise & Strategic Development and Director of Training; where he helped develop the system which led Christian Brothers to the top of its industry segment in AUV, NPS, and Franchise Satisfaction. Josh has a B.S. in Political Science from TCU, is a CFE through the International Franchise Association, serves on the Board of Advisors for Just Between Friends Franchise System and is a member of both the ICSC and the IAAPA. Josh lives in Fort Worth, TX with his wife and three daughters.
Jessica Correa joined Urban Air from the greater Boston area after more than four years with Planet Fitness and over 12 years with Royal Caribbean International. During her time with Planet Fitness, Correa was responsible for developing integrated marketing programs and innovative experiences across a range of channels driving revenue growth. Jessica has a strong record of leading companies through complex initiatives at pivotal transition points including pre – and post – IPO, digital transformation and franchise integration. In her role with Urban Air as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Correa oversees all aspects that touch guests through their customer journey. She leads Marketing, Sales, In-Park Revenue and Innovation.
